Running more than 90% world farms and producing about 80% of world’s food, Producers are at the center of our food systems. Given the key role Producers play in nurturing the society as a whole, there is an urgent need to ensure their full engagement with a collective voice throughout the UN Food Systems Summit process.
As a continuation of the Summit’s engagement with Producer groups and the Action Track Public Forums, the Summit Secretariat will host three Producer Public Forums on the below dates to accommodate different time zones.
These Forums aim at updating Producers across the globe of latest Summit progress; seeking inputs and recommendations on emerging solution areas from Producers; and mobilizing their participation in the upcoming Producer-focused dialogues. The Forums will have representatives from the Action Tracks, Food Systems Summit Dialogues as well as key Producer groups engaged in the Summit process and beyond. Participants will be invited to reflect on current progress and share their thoughts and feedback.
